Description
Working principle: When the hydraulic system operates, the oil level in the tank rises and falls. When it rises, air is expelled from the inside out; when it falls, air is drawn in from the outside in. To purify the oil in the fuel tank, an air filter is installed vertically on the fuel tank cover to filter the incoming air; at the same time, the air filter serves as the oil inlet, and the new working oil that is injected must be filtered before entering the tank, thereby removing the dirt particles from the oil.
In hydraulic systems, purifying the working fluid is a very important step. The air filter can maintain the cleanliness of the fluid in the tank, preventing dirt particles from entering the tank from the outside, and extending the working cycle and lifespan of the fluid and components, thereby ensuring the normal operation of the hydraulic system. In addition, when the hydraulic system is operating, the air filter can maintain a balance between the pressure in the oil tank and atmospheric pressure to prevent cavitation in the pump.
The air filter element has a precision of 10μm and is mainly used in side-mounted oil tanks, connecting to the tank via a flange.
