Design review and on-site bench testing completed — both parties move to sample production
XINGTAI, HEBEI, CHINA — 9th,Sep, 2026 — A client delegation from india company, visited Hebei Huachun Hydraulic Automobile Fittings Co., Ltd. this week to co-develop a new hydraulic directional control valve for their heavy-duty equipment. The visit covered two stages: a joint design review and the on-site validation of pre-production samples. Both stages were completed successfully, and the two parties have agreed to move forward to sample production.
A directional control valve sits at the centre of a hydraulic lifting circuit — it determines how oil is routed to raise, hold and lower the load. Pressure holding and internal leakage are the two parameters that decide whether a lifted load stays in position or creeps down over time, while flow rate sets the lifting speed the equipment can achieve. On equipment running continuous heavy-duty cycles, these parameters have to be verified against the real system rather than on paper alone, which is what the on-site bench test was designed to confirm.
Both engineering teams reviewed the valve design together before moving to the test bench. Pre-production samples were then tested on site, and all tested items — including pressure holding, internal leakage and flow rate — met the agreed specification. Weld quality also passed inspection, confirming that the production process is capable of reproducing the validated sample at series level.
With technical performance confirmed, both parties agreed to release the design for sample production. First articles are scheduled for october 2026, after which the client will carry out its own verification before series production is discussed.
“Co-development projects like this are how we prefer to work with overseas clients,” said Ms.pan at Hebei Huachun Hydraulic. “The client brought the system requirements, our engineers brought the valve design and the production process, and we validated the result together on the test bench. That removes most of the risk before the first production order.”
